How do you assess your life and how it’s going?

Many of us worry and think about our lives, but never take the time to sit down and actually assess our performance.  How are you doing in life?  With July already upon us in 2025, now is a perfect time to give you a few tips in the #CJJblog on how you can examine your life.  Answer these ten questions and let me know if I missed any that you use.  Enjoy.

  • What is your North Star?  What is your purpose in life?  Personal Mission Statement?
  • What do you stand for?  What are your core values and standards?
  • What are you focused on?  Top three goals and commitments.
  • What are your beliefs?  How do you practice them?
  • Do you take time to be quiet?  Breathing exercises, meditation, and prayer can help.
  • How do you measure your life?  What makes life a success for you?  How do you quantify it?
  • How are you doing with your relationships?  Who is helping and hindering you?
  • How is your energy?  Are you taking care of yourself?
  • What are you doing to bring fun into your life?  What brings you joy?
  • How are you expressing gratitude?  Journaling?  Verbalizing to others?
