How does your half-time goals assessment look?
We are now half way through 2017 and that makes it a good time to evaluate our progress on our goals for the year. How are you doing on your weight loss? Are your exercising more? Eating healthier? Spending more time with your kids? Whatever your goals were back at the start of the year, don’t lose sight of them. It’s never too late to get back on track. Below are some tips on how to stay the course and finish the year strong in regards to our goals. Enjoy.
- Question yourself. What do you need to stop doing? What should you continue to do? What should you add to your daily routine? These are all questions you should ask yourself during your 2017 re-assessment.
- Write goals down. At least 5-10 per day. Start with smaller, daily goals and then graduate to your bigger, long-term ones.
- BHAG. This is your “Big Hairy Audacious Goal” that you are setting your sights on. Once you have your questions answered and your goals/priorities are written down, you can then focus on your BHAG. What’s your BHAG?
- Prioritize. This will allow you to discover many things about yourself and your core values. Mindstorming sessions help where you pick a goal you hope to achieve and write down 20 ways to get there. When was the last time you had a mindstorming session?
