What are you passionate about?
Some of us find ways to follow our passions, while others ignore them. If you wish to pursue them, here are the three main questions you should be asking yourself: 1) What interests me? 2) What am I good at? And 3) How can I contribute to others? This is the formula for monetizing, enjoying, and pursuing your passions. In the #CJJblog this week, I give you some of my passions and how these questions play a big role in my life. Enjoy.
- Health. Exercise is very important to me. So, one of the best ways I stay fit is to exercise by doing something that I love; tennis. Taking it a step further, one of the most important things to have in tennis is core strength. Therefore, when working out, I love focusing on my core, which gives me added motivation and purpose.
- Basketball. I fell in love with basketball in High School. While my playing career was a bit of a roller coaster, I knew I loved the game. In order to continue on with my passion, I became a coach. I then was able to share my experiences with others and help them become better players (and people).
- Speaking career. My speaking career is a perfect example of pursuing a passion. My own personal growth paired with giving back to others is a beautiful combo. I am also a student of the industry, consistently learning and growing my abilities. The J-Mac story has given me the wonderful opportunity to turn my passion into a career and I am forever grateful.
