What are you focused on this year?

Are you ready to take on the new year?

What are you focusing on in 2026?  A new business venture?  Improved physical health?  Whatever it may be, I guarantee you that if you focus on the right things, not only will you accomplish your goals, but it will be your best year ever.  In the #CJJblog this week, I give you the exact tips and tricks that I am implementing to dominate 2026.  Enjoy.

  • Clarity.  What is your most important goal for this upcoming year?  Is your Most Valuable Goal (MVG) and Most Valuable Priority (MVP) aligned?
  • Self-aware.  What is your Personal Mission Statement?  What about your top three values?
  • Word.  Do you have a word or a theme for 2026?  What is your execution plan?  For me, my word is Breakthrough.  What’s yours?
  • Non-negotiables.  What are your non-negotiables in life?  Do you follow these on a daily basis?  Start with small systems and one solution to jumpstart your journey.
  • Accountability.  Who is holding you accountable?  Do you have an accountability partner?  Get one and speak with them once a week to discuss your progress.
  • Environment.  What is your workspace like?  Are all distractions eliminated?  Are those around you helping or hindering your work?
  • Writing.  Are all your goals and values in writing?  Make it a daily process to write down your goals, ideas, and thoughts.
  • Coach.  Do you have a life coach or consultant?  If not, join a mastermind group of like-minded, motivated individuals to exchange ideas.
  • Visualization.  How do you see yourself having success?  Do you occasionally imagine it, or sit down, close your eyes and envision every detail?  Have a daily process around visualization and I promise your life will change for the better.
  • Progress.  How are you tracking your progress?  What does your daily scorecard look like?  Break it into different categories and rate yourself each day.

Life Tip #13:  Meditate or sit quietly for at least ten minutes per day.
