Do you have a great success story?
A great success story does not happen out of nowhere. Those are called miracles. A success story has many levels of hard work, dedication, and opportunity. For me (professionally), it was the night of February 15th, 2006 and the “J-Mac Game.” In the #CJJblog this week, I give you some key aspects that go into the making of a great success story and how you can go about working toward one yourself. Enjoy.
- Luck. Yes, a little bit of luck will be involved. How do you increase your luck? 1) Relentless pursuit of a goal (just like J-Mac did), 2) Optimism will increase opportunity, and 3) Look for opportunities to make it happen (action).
- Failure. You will fail at times along the way. It’s part of the journey. Champions embrace failure, learn from it, and keep going.
- People. Surround yourself with the right people who will help you do the right things. Be a giver first and seek to serve others at all times.
- Unpredictability. You never know when things will change (good or bad). Don’t have a pity party for yourself. Instead, keep the momentum moving forward.
- Productivity. Your daily processes become your daily habits, which will eventually lead to your ultimate success story.
