What are your non-negotiables?

Do you have daily non-negotiables?

As life goes on, we all have daily rituals or routines that fall into place.  However, do you have any daily non-negotiables?  These are things that can be considered requirements that must occur for you to have a successful day.  The #CJJblog this week gives you my daily non-negotiables and some strategies you can implement to get yours in place as well.  Enjoy!

  • My daily non-negotiables
    • Exercise for 40+ minutes
    • Read my daily affirmations card out loud and start my day with a self high-five
    • Go for a 30-minute walk
    • Meditate for 20 minutes
    • Write down my daily goals in my journal
    • Pray for ten minutes
    • Write in my gratitude journal
    • Keep a daily scorecard and assess key aspects of my life (ex: health, relationships, personal growth, etc.)
    • Send a personal video to someone
    • Wish Facebook friends a Happy Birthday
    • Post my Daily Success Thought on social media
    • Post my Daily Dose of Leadership on social media
  • Strategies for you
    • Start with one.  Complete for 60 consecutive days before adding to it.
    • Start small.  For example, exercise for 15 minutes per day for a week before advancing to 30 or 45 minutes.
    • Get an accountability partner and connect with them at least once per week.
    • Create a scorecard to track your progress and results.
    • Start now (or sooner).
    • Never miss two days in a row.

Did You Know?  Coach’s former team (Greece Athena) is undefeated this season at 23-0 and in the NYS Class AA Sectional Boys Final on Saturday, March 2nd against Victor High School.
